Bahn Mi are like bouquets of the sandwich world, with textures and flavor arranged in a beautiful fashion!
Soft pillowy baguette with a lightly crispy crust, rich, tender meat, fresh crispy vegetables, bright pickles and earthy cilantro come together in the most delicious way! It's also a beautiful contrast of colors too!
We ordered the bbq pork and a few of the House made savory pastries they had in the case. The Bahn Mi was good, but nothing jumped out as remarkable. It really stepped up though with an addition of their house made chili oil.
The pastries were awesome. We ordered one stuffed with a pork meatball that was incredible. Tender, light, juicy ground pork meatball seasoned perfectly, wrapped up in a thin dough. Add the chili oil and... bammo! I may have liked this more than the Bahn mi.
This place is part of a balanced diet. Not to mention it's part of Zeppelin Station, which is a stellar experience in and of itself! -

I'm a big fan of these sandwiches!
+ Large serving
+ Chicken tasted really good
+ Added a little sriracha for extra spice (DO THIS)
+ No long line and food was made quickly -

Massive bahn mi pork sandwich for lunch today with a mangosteen juice drink. Two surprises: the huge size of the sandwich, which was delicious; so bigger really was better (especially with the pickled jalapenos add-on), and the fact that they had a canned mangosteen juice drink (I think from Trobico:).
The sandwich was excellent. The drink good but not a substitute for a fresh mangosteen. (And if anyone knows where they have excellent fresh mangosteen purdy please tell me. I've been looking for one for a lonnnnng time).
Selamat makan,

Best banh mi of my life. I haven't had one in Vietnam yet, but I have been to many a little Hanoi/ Vietnam town and restaurant. Their chili crisp is the real deal. I almost fainted when I tasted it.

Three words: big ass sandwiches.
Seriously giant banh mi overflowing with meat and all the fixings. Highly recommend for sharing or taking leftovers home to enjoy for round two. It'll stink up your fridge but I always say the stinkier the better with banh mi.
Normally I go for lemongrass chicken but I opted for bbq pork with a slathering of pate. It was rich! And as soon as I took a bite, carrots and cilantro went everywhere. Still, it hit the spot.
Zeppelin Station offers many Asian options along with open seating and a bar if you're imbibing. Or just get a Sprite in a can, which is my drink of choice with something salty.
Sandwiches the size of an adults forearm for less than $10? You better try for yourself.
